Hotel Aires Bacalar, Bacalar

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is superb, not directly on the lake but on the Yucatan Peninsula, offering easy access to the nicest restaurants in town and boasting a stunning view of the lagoon. The rooms were cozy and clean, complete with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lagoon and equipped with A/C. The service was top-notch with fantastic housekeeping and a helpful list of services including laundry, airport shuttle, and tours assistance. The dining experience was delightful, especially with their own made Marmalade and delicious options like chilaquiles or waffles, all included in the stay. On the downside, the hotel is not directly on the lake as some would prefer. However, the proximity to the peninsula compensates beautifully. The location is definitely a 9/10 to me.
